DWD gears up for ISO recertification

Digos Water District (DWD) is gearing up for ISO recertification this coming April 2024. The water district was ISO-certified for Quality Management Systems (BS EN ISO 9001:2015) with scope of Supply of Water Services in Digos City.  This is evidenced by Certificate No. 119680 issued last May 6, 2021 and valid until May 6, 2024. continue reading : DWD gears up for ISO recertification

The original water supply system of Digos was constructed in 1965 by the now defunct National Waterworks and Sewerage Authority (NAWASA), which operated and managed the system until 1980.  On July 10, 1980, the Sangguniang Bayan of Digos passed Res. No. 76 creating Digos Water District (DWD).  With its formation, DWD took over the ownership and management of the water supply system in accordance with PD 198 as amended.
